Yuu Kasami
Yuu Kasami (風見 悠 Kasami Yuu) is the leading protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! DX, and was one of the Heralders. Living in the secluded mountains before the story takes place, he only knows Light and Darkness Dragon as his only friend. Invited to the Duel Carnival by Miss Rabbit, he starts his duels along with his wacky but dependable friends.

Yuya is a young teenage boy with red eyes, and dual-colored brown and yellow hair that sweeps upwards and to the right side of his head, similar to the manner to Yuto.
Personality[]
Timid and weak at the beginning of the story, Yuu is shy and awkward in social interaction because of his previously secluded life in the mountains -- and he finds comfort in things people find strange, the one being most obvious is whenever he talks with his spirit card, Light and Darkness Dragon. However, throughout the story he matures -- he becomes strong-willed, while still maintaining his timid personality, he grows to be more mature and is someone who strongly believes in his comrades, and he will take even extreme measures if it means he can protect his friends. He is quick to forgive as shown as he tries to befriend Seiji and Ben, even though the latter had been trying to injure him and his friends for times.

Yuu plays a Dragon Deck, focusing on the Summoning of his ace monster, "Light and Darkness Dragon" and its counterparts, "Light End Dragon" and "Dark End Dragon". He uses various support cards such as "Immortal Dragon" and "Dragon's Evil Eye" to gain field advantage while also utilizing defensive cards such as "Scale Mail" and "Durability (Dragon's Endurance)" in addition to several LIGHT and DARK support cards to supplement his aces.
