Yu-Gi-Oh! Me - Chapter 002 - Birth of Evolute Monster ** Carole** P2 is the second Chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Me, and the continuation of the first Chapter. Yei is currently dueling Melissa.

Summary:

Spoiler warning! This article contains plot details about an upcoming Chapter. Reading this without reading the manga chapter may result to ruin your enjoyment.

Yei gets cornered in a duel, as she has her First ace card got taken down by Melissa, Melissa tells her that she can never win this duel since Melissa is aware of Yei's cards and Combos. Posessed by a strange aura, Melissa's attacks get more Extreme, while Yei tries to Turn the Tables, Melissa pulls some Dark Tricks, and Turns the duel into a Shadow Duel using "Chaotic's Corrupted Zone", then using "Hand Tokens", Melissa managed to make Yei remember only dark memories just to get her to suffer even more, after Turning the Tables again, Melissa taunts Yei by reminding her of what she've done in fits of rage and calling her true purpose "Pouring your bitterness on other people", in disbelief, Yei Tries to defend herself and justify her true purpose, however, Melissa proceeds to mock her even more, then she launches an attack that causes Yei fly and fall over, wounded, with ripped clothes, before falling, Yei remembered the day that she was bullied by 3 kids, only to be saved by an Unknown Person, she realizes that she has acheived nothing from the advice given by her in her childhood, while Melissa is making fun of her, Yei is on the verge of Surrendering the duel, knowing that there's no way that she would win, suddenly, The card  illuminates her memories, replacing the dark memories inside Yei, reminding her of the fact that her father advised her to stay determined, cling to her hopes, and follow her dreams, and more specifcally, the day that he gave her "Hinn, Maiden of The Fiber Vine".Back to the reality, the card broke the shadow field (leaving only the magic card), and created a new Entity that provided Yei with New Card. Initially, Yei did not know what the Evolute Summon procedures, but when she read the card, she realizes what she must do, (The Pannel where the crowd was supposed to be surprised of seeing the new Summon was forgotten to make) , Melissa did not fret in the beginning thinking that her ace monster won't be touched, however, Yei defeated her. As soon as the Duel ended, all spectators are now on Yei' side, Yei gives a handshake to Melissa, only to be told by the latter that they were through, and gets the cards thrown over her face, with no reaction, Yei kneels, and collects the fallen cards Muttering that Melissa will NEVER respect her own decks, she places her hand on "Paintress Goghi", telling that she feels the card's pain, Hata came and congratulated Yei for her victory against her first rival, and both siblings solved their differences.

Duel continues from the previous chapter

Turn 3: Yei:

Yei activates "Card of Demise" and draws 3 cards since she has 2 cards in her hand (exlcuding the one she drew in her turn), then she activates "Spellbook Inside the Pot" and draws 3 cards (along with Melissa), then, she activates "Vine Rituals" and Ritual Summons "Fiber Vine Tigeragon"  (7 2500/2100) by tributing (2"Samid, Seed of Fiber Vine" 3 x4=7) and "Diabolic Dragon of Fiber Vine" ( 4), then She activates  Diabolic's effect to return "Hinn, Maiden of The Fiber Vine " from Melissa' Spell and Trap Zone to her hand (Chaotic Bestra 3600→2400). Yei activates Tigeragon effect to Equip "Qliphort Monolith" to itself and gain half its ATK as a bonus (Tigeragon 2500→3700), then she proceeds to Attack Bestra (Melissa 4000→2700), Yei ends her turn by setting 1 card face-down.

The New Monster

Turn 4: Melissa:

Melissa activates "Card of Demise" and replenishes her hand, then she activates "Chaotic's Corrupted Zone" making "Fiber Vine Tigeragon" and "Puff Puff Ladybug of Fiber Vine" lose 400 ATK and DEF. <(Tigeragon 3700→3300 ATK/2100→1700 DEF) (Puff Puff 1400<→1000 ATK), then she activates "Chaotic Demise Hand" destroying "Qliphort Scout" and "Qliphort Disc" to Special Summon "Hand Token" and itself treating itself as a Normal Monster (50/3000/Fiend/Token/), since they are also treated as the destroyed cards, Melissa Tributes them to Tribute Summon "Apoqliphort Towers" and lowers the ATK and DEF of all Special Summoned monsters (Tigeragon 3300→2800 ATK/1700→1200 DEF) (Puff Puff 1000→500 ATK), then she destroys Tigeragon using "Smashing Ground" and forces Puff Puff to go Attack Position using "Stop Defense", then she attacks Puff Puff,(Yei 3100→2600), then she ends her turn.

Turn 5: Yei:

Yei uses "Vine Sunflower Of Greed " shuffling  "Puff Puff Ladybug of Fiber Vine", "Samid, Seed of Fiber Vine", and "Diabolic Dragon of Fiber Vine", then she draws 3 cards, she uses "De-Spell" to destroy "Chaotic's Forceful DNA Conversion ", then "Monster Reborn" to Special Summon "Carole, Queen of Fiber Vine "( 2700/2300) (Carole 2700→2200 ATK/2300→1800 DEF) , Then she uses "Re-Shōkan -No Lebelu" resurrecting "Fiber Vine Tigeragon" (Tigeragon 2500→2000 ATK/2100→1600 DEF), then alerting both monsters' Levels(Carole 8→4) , (Tigeragon 7→3) , then she Evolute Summons "Carole, Tigeragon Queen of Fiber Vine"7 2500/2100) (Carole 2500→2000 ATK/2100→1600 DEF) then she uses her effect to equip Towers to itself and gain its Original ATK (Carole 2000→5500 ATK/1600→2100 DEF), then she attacks Meliisa Directly(Melissa 2700→0) Yei Wins.

Trivia

• The Depiction of "Smashing Ground" is a live Action Hand, contradticting its original artwork.
• The Flashbacks that were supposed to be used in Chapter 08 is used in this one instead not revealing Yuri's face.
• The "Hopes and Dreams" That Yei's Father was talking about was not refering to Undertale's.
• Melissa Broke the fourth wall saying "At least, you're better than those mainstream childhood girls who get kidnapped by evil guys and scream for help hoping for the protagonist to come!" refering to Flowey Dialogue when talking to the First Human "At least we're better than those sickos that stand around and WATCH it happen... Those pathetic people that want to see it, but are too weak to do it themselves. I bet someone like that's watching right now, aren't they...?".
  • At one point, she is refering to how Main female Characters in Yu-Gi-Oh! are often Helpless when they get kidnapped, or put in a peril, mostly Kotori Mizuki waiting for Yuma Tsukumo to rescue her, in Yuya Sakaki's case , Yuzu Hiragi in the latest arc Heartland City.
    • Calling it "Mainstream" refers to how cliché it gets in most of Yu-Gi-Oh! anime/manga series with the sole exception Yusei Fudo who was kidnapped once instead.
