Yu-Gi-Oh! KINGS (Japanese: 遊☆戯☆王 キングス Yūgiō Kingusu) Is an upcoming fanfiction series created by KuugaUltimate200, based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game & anime franchise. It is the sixth spin-off anime series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, succeeding Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS and the eighth anime series overall.

This fanfic is created as a motive for the 20th Anniversary of the Anime series, and serves as an introduction to King Cards, Master Rule ROYAL, and the concept of A.D. Worlds.

Plot

Yuo Niju (Japanese: 弐拾にじゅう 遊往ゆう おう Nijū Yūō ) is a 18-year-old amnesiac young man who doesn't recall anything from his past, he is an aspiring artist as well as an enthusiast duelist who really loves dueling, and works part-time at a game shop. He aspires at someday being able to make cards of his own for everyone else to enjoy. He pretty much lives a normal life, until one day he finds a mysterious golden-colored card known as a "King Card" and discovers "King Summoning", which enables him to summon multiple monsters from the Extra Deck while dueling as long as that card's "King Hierarchy" allows him. That gets him in the middle of conflict that takes him to his next journey. It is later discovered that there are 200 of these King Cards, and they're all fragments of the power of a enigmatic king who was considered "The Most Powerful Duellist at Existence" that ruled his world with a iron fist. And now the cards are spreaded across the "A.D. Worlds" in the multiverse, and whoever collects all 200 King cards, will become the new almighty king. Now former followers of said king are after the cards in order to get a new king to rule them . Now Yuo's Journey is to travel through the many A.D. Worlds, and collect all the King Cards while meeting characters of previous series in the process, as well as possibly find out about his past as well.

This story will focus mainly on the first Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series (from Duel Monsters to VRAINS), also it is still too early to have a verdict to the upcoming series, so no plans of adding or referencing it for now.
