Featured Duel 1: Mikoto v.s. Therestina

Turn 1: Mikoto

• Main Phase 1:

• Mikoto activates "Draco Face-Off". She reveals "Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer" ( 4 / 1850 / 0 / 5) and "Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord" ( 4 / 1850 / 0 / 3) from her Deck. "Luster Pendulum" is randomly chosen, and Mikoto chooses to Special Summon it. "Vector Pendulum" is placed in the Extra Deck, face-up.
• Mikoto then places "Performapal Monkeyboard" ( 6 / 1000 / 2400 / 1) and "Performapal Silver Claw" ( 4 / 1800 / 700 / 5) in her Pendulum Zones. She uses the Pendulum Effect of "Monkeyboard", adding any Level 4 or lower "Performapal" monster from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker" ( 4 / 1800 / 100 / 8).
• Mikoto Normal Summons "Skullcrobat Joker" and subsequently uses its effect to add 1 "Performapal" monster from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Performapal Dargekota" ( 4 / 1600 / 1200 / 8).
• She then Pendulum Summons, from her hand, "Dargekota" and "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer" ( 4 / 1500 / 800 / 2), and "Vector Pendulum" from her Extra Deck, all in Attack Position.
• Mikoto activates "Pendulum Sorcerer"'s effect: Since it was Special Summoned, it can destroy 2 cards she controls. She destroys "Silver Claw" and "Skullcrobat Joker". Then, she can add 2 "Performapal" monsters with different names to her hand. She chooses "Performapal Calamitypus" ( 4 / 600 / 1900 / 7) and "Performapal Clavichorse" ( 5 / 2000 / 1000 / 3).
• Then, she chains her Esper ability (4), paying 500 LP (Mikoto: 8000 → 7500) to draw cards equal to the number of cards she destroyed on her field with her own card effect. Mikoto draws 2 cards. After this effect resolves, the selected "Performapal" monsters are placed in her hand.
• Since Mikoto drew cards outside of the Draw Phase, she activates the effect of "Dargekota", returning "Skullcrobat Joker" from the Extra Deck to her hand.
• Mikoto tunes "Luster Pendulum" with "Pendulum Sorcerer" to Synchro Summon "Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer" ( 8 / 2850 / 0) and subsequently uses its effect to Special Summon a "Dracoslayer" monster from her Deck in Defense Position. She chooses "Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer" ( 4 / 1950 / 0 / 3).
• Mikoto overlays the Level 4 "Vector Pendulum" and "Master Pendulum" to Xyz Summon "Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer" ( 4 / 1850 / 2000 / ORU 2) in Defense Position. She then immediately detaches an Xyz Material (ORU 2 → 1) to Special Summon "Luster Pendulum" from the Extra Deck in Attack Position. Mikoto then tunes "Luster Pendulum" with "Dargekota" to Synchro Summon a second "Ignister Prominence" in Attack Position, using its effect to Special Summon another "Master Pendulum" from her Deck to the field in Defense Position.
• Mikoto then plays "Swing of Memories", Special Summoning the "Master Pendulum" from the Graveyard that she detached as Xyz Material, then overlays the Level 4 "Master Pendulum"s to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" ( 4 / 2500 / 2000 / ORU 2) in Attack Position.

• End Phase:

• The effect of "Majester Paladin" activates, allowing Mikoto to add a Pendulum Monster from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Performapal Wolfetch".

Turn 2: Therestina

• Draw Phase: Draws for turn.
• Main Phase 1:

• Therestina sets "Qliphort Monolith" ( 6 / 1000 / 2400 / 1) and "Qliphort Scout" ( 5 / 1000 / 2800 / 9) in her Pendulum Scales. She then activates "Scout"'s effect. Therestina pays 800 LP (Therestina: 8000 → 7200) to add 1 "Qli" card from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Qliphort Stealth" ( 8 / 2800 / 1000 / 1).
• Using the set Pendulum Scales, Therestina Pendulum Summons "Qliphort Helix" ( 6 → 4 / 2400 → 1800 / 1000 / 9), "Qliphort Shell" ( 8 → 4 / 2800 → 1800 / 1000 / 9), "Qliphort Carrier" ( 6 → 4 / 2400 → 1800 / 1000 / 1), and "Qliphort Disk" ( 7 → 4 / 2800 → 1800 / 1000 / 1), all in Attack Position. She then Tributes "Helix" and "Carrier" to Tribute Summon "Qliphort Stealth" in Attack Position.
• "Helix"'s effect activates, allowing Therestina to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on the field. Therestina chooses her own "Qliphort Monolith". Then, "Carrier"'s effect activates, allowing Therestina to return 1 monster on the field to the hand. She chooses Mikoto's "Number 39: Utopia". "Stealth"'s effect activates upon Tribute Summon, allowing Therestina to return 1 card on the field to the hand. She chooses her own "Qliphort Scout". Mikoto chains her (3) Esper ability, paying 500 LP (Mikoto: 7500 → 7000) to banish the Machine-type "Qliphort Stealth". After resolving, "Stealth" is banished, "Scout" returns to Therestina's hand, "Utopia" is returned to the Extra Deck, and "Monolith" is destroyed.
• Now that there are no "Qliphort" Pendulum Monsters in her Pendulum Zones, Therestina overlays her remaining "Qliphort Disk" and "Qliphort Shell" to Xyz Summon "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK" ( 4 / 2100 / 1000 / ORU 2) in Attack Position. She then immediately activates its effect, detaching its 2 Xyz Material (ORU 2 → 0) to target and attach 1 Special Summoned Attack Position monster Mikoto controls as an Xyz Material. Therestina chooses one of the "Ignister Prominence"s (ORU 0 → 1).

• Battle Phase:

• "Silent Honor ARK" attacks and destroys "Majester Paladin".

• Main Phase 2:

• Therestina sets "Qliphort Scout" back into her Pendulum Zone and activates its effect again, paying 800 LP (Therestina: 7200 → 6400) to add a "Qli" card from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Mass Qlimiter" and subsequently Sets it.

Turn 3: Mikoto

• Mikoto Normal Summons "Performapal Skullcrobat Joker" and uses its effect to add a "Performapal" monster from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Performapal Lizardraw" ( 3 / 1200 / 600 / 6) and subsequently Sets it into her Pendulum Zone.
• Mikoto Pendulum Summons "Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer", "Performapal Dargekota", and "Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer" from her Extra Deck, all in Attack Position. However, Therestina activates her Set Counter Trap "Mass Qlimiter", negating the effects of all of these monsters and changing them to face-down Defense Position. Since she controls a face-up "Qli" card as well, she draws 1 card.
• Mikoto activates the Pendulum Effect of "Lizardraw", destroying it to draw 1 card from her Deck. She then activates the effect of "Ignister", destroying "Monkeyboard" in her Pendulum Zone to shuffle 1 monster Therestina controls into the Deck. She chooses "Silent Honor ARK", which is returned to the Extra Deck.

• "Ignister" and "Skullcrobat Joker" attack directly (Therestina 6400 → 3550 → 1750).

• Therestina activates the effect of "Qliphort Scout", paying 800 LP (Therestina 1750 → 950) to add 1 "Qli" card from her Deck to her hand. She chooses a second copy of "Qliphort Disk".
• Therestina sets a second copy of "Qliphort Carrier" ( 1) into her Pendulum Zone. Due to its effect, all "Qli" monsters Therestina controls will gain 300 ATK. Then, she Pendulum Summons "Qliphort Helix" ( 6 → 4 / ATK 2400 → 1800 → 2100), "Qliphort Carrier" ( 6 → 4 / ATK 2400 → 1800 → 2100), and "Qliphort Monolith" ( 5 / 2400 → 2700 / 1000 / 1) from her Extra Deck in Attack Position. Therestina Tributes "Helix" and "Carrier" to Tribute Summon "Qliphort Disk" in Attack Position ( 7 / 2800 → 3100 / 1000).
• Therestina activates the effect of "Qliphort Helix". When it is Tributed for a Tribute Summon, it allows her to destroy 1 Spell/Trap on the field. She chooses Mikoto's Set "Railgun Triple Shock". She then activates the effect of "Qliphort Carrier"; when it is Tributed, she can return 1 monster on the field to the hand. She chooses "Ignister Prominence". Therestina then activates the effect of "Qliphort Disk", allowing her to Special Summon 2 "Qli" monsters from her Deck with their effects negated, and they are destroyed during the End Phase. She chooses "Qliphort Cephalopod" ( 7 / 2800 → 3100 / 1000 / 9) and "Qliphort Stealth" ( 8 / 2800 → 3100 / 1000 / 1), which are then Special Summoned. The chain resolves, returning "Ignister Prominence" to the Deck and destroying "Railgun Triple Shock".
• Mikoto activates her (3) Esper ability, paying 500 LP (Mikoto: 7000 → 6500) to banish the Machine-type "Qliphort Disk".

• Main Phase 1:

• Mikoto sets "Performapal Clavichorse" ( 3) and "Performapal Calamitypus" ( 7) in her Pendulum Scales. However, Therestina activates her Set "Capacity Down", Special Summoning it as a monster ( 9 / 0 / 2900). While it is face-up on the field, Mikoto cannot activate any of her Esper effects, and is unable to Normal or Special Summon monsters.
• Mikoto Sets "Performapal Wolfetch" in face-down Defense Position and switches "Skullcrobat Joker" to Defense Position.

Turn 6: Therestina

• Draw Phase: Draws for turn.
• Main Phase 1:

• Therestina activates the effect of "Qliphort Scout", paying 800 LP (Therestina 950 → 150) to add 1 "Qli" card from her Deck to her hand. She chooses "Apoqliphort Towers".
• Therestina Pendulum Summons "Helix", "Carrier", and "Stealth" from her Extra Deck using her set Pendulum Scales ( 4 / 1800 → 2100).

• Battle Phase:

• "Helix" and "Carrier" attack and destroy "Skullcrobat Joker" and "Wolfetch". "Stealth" and "Monolith" attack directly (Mikoto: 6500 → 4400 → 1700).

• Main Phase 2:

• Therestina Tributes "Helix", "Carrier", and "Stealth" to Tribute Summon "Apoqliphort Towers" ( 10 / 3000 / 2600) in Attack Position. Its effect decreases the ATK and DEF of all Special Summoned monsters on the field by 500 ("Monolith": 2700 → 2200 / 1000 → 500, "Capacity Down": 0 / 2900 → 2400).
• Therestina Sets 1 card.

Turn 7: Mikoto

• Draw Phase: Draws "Raigeki".
• Main Phase 1:

• Mikoto attempts to activate "Raigeki" to destroy all of Therestina's face-up monsters, but Therestina chains the Quick-Play Spell Card "Forbidden Lance", targeting "Capacity Down" and making it immune to other Spell/Trap Card effects this turn. "Qliphort Monolith" is destroyed, but due to the effect of "Apoqliphort Towers", it is immune to Spell/Trap effects, so it is not destroyed.

Turn 8: Therestina

• Draw Phase: Draws for turn.
• Battle Phase: "Apoqliphort Towers" attacks Mikoto directly (Mikoto: 1700 → 0).

Therestina wins.

Featured Duel 3: Mikoto, Kuroko, Kazari, & Harumi (+ Ruiko) v.s. Therestina

This Duel marks the first time that Therestina uses her true archetype, the "Silent Honor" archetype.
