Starting with a new type of card, which is meant to be used exclusively by the Professor's Guild, and that is the Rule Cards. A Library with a Rule Card in it must contain it and 41 other cards (the Starter and your usual 40-card Library). They are placed in the Rule Zone, which is on the left size of the Creature Zone, and it remains on the field for the duration of the Match. They grant an effect to the player, as well as an effect that can only be used once in the Match, which is written with {ABILITY} in its text.

Starting now with Professor Schmidt's Magi-Element Library, which focuses on having a variety of Action and Reaction Cards which will place Mana Markers while they are in the Drop Zone to specifically call powerful creatures by their conditions, powered by her Rule Card, <<Sanctum of the Magicians>>.

For now, no more new cards for older characters.

Sylph Spawning

Once during this turn's Call Phase, while this card is in your Drop Zone, place 1 Mana Marker. If you control a Magi-Element Creature, place 1 Mana Marker. You can only use this effect of <<Sylph Spawning>> once this turn.

Splendid Defiance
Action Card
Once during this turn's Call Phase, while this card is in your Drop Zone, place 1 Mana Marker. Discard 1 Magi-Element Creature, to place 2 Mana Markers. You can only use this effect of <<Splendid Defiance>> once this turn.

Dawnsong
Action Card
Once during this turn's Call Phase, while this card is in your Drop Zone, place 1 Mana Marker. Choose 1 Magi-Element Creature in your Drop Zone, send the top card of your Library to the Drop Zone, and then add the chosen card to the hand. You can only use this effect of <<Dawnsong>> once this turn.
