A Sabotage Card is a type of card introduced by HelixReactor. It is a type of card that can only be used by Saboteurs during a Sabotage Duel, and for that matter the only type of cards said Saboteurs can make use of.

Properties

Similarly to Hazard Cards, despite not being monsters, Sabotage Cards possess a Threat Level Threat indicator.

Sabotage Cards cannot be Set face-down on the field. As Sabotage Zones are laid across both regular players' fields, Sabotage Card effects may take into account the location on which they have been played.

Sabotage Cards are split into two categories: Operation Cards and Mission Cards.

Operation Cards

Sabotage Operation Cards are cards that can be activated from the hand during any player's turn. They typically also have effects that allow their owner to draw cards upon being sent (usually from the field) to the GY.

Mission Cards

Similarly to Operation Cards, Sabotage Mission Cards are also cards that can be activated from the hand during any player's turn, however, their activation timing is strictly limited to End Phases. Furthermore, in order to activate an Operation Card, the Saboteur must banish cards from their GY (except cards that were sent there this turn) whose total Threat Level equals the Threat Level of the Mission Card they wish to activate, as listed on said Mission Card.

once activated, Mission Cards remain on the field in a similar fashion to Continuous Spell/Trap Cards. Their primary function is to dictate the Saboteur's Success and Failure conditions. Fullfilling a Mission Card's Success Condition is the only way for a Saboteur to win a Duel. Likewise, if a Saboteur meets the Failure Condition of a Mission Card they control, they prematurely lose the Duel.

While not typical of Mission Cards, these cards may also have effects in addition to their Sucess and Failure Conditions.
