Card Lore:
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 1 "Hazy Flame", "Mermail", "Superheavy Samurai", "Fire King", "Bujin" or "Melodious" monster from the hand. You can only Special Summon "Hazy Flame Abysskylla Concerto Relic - Steadfast Garunix" once per turn this way. Cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is Special Summoned this way, you can activate 1 of the following effects depending on the monster discarded.
● "Hazy Flame": Your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. This card's Level becomes 6. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Hazy Flame" monster in your Graveyard, except "Hazy Flame Abysskylla Concerto Relic - Steadfast Garunix"; Special Summon that target.
● "Mermail": When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 Level 7 "Mermail" monster from your Deck or Graveyard to the hand. You can Special Summon Level 7 "Mermail" monsters with their effects with 1 less requirement than written on their text.
● "Superheavy Samurai": When this card is Special Summoned: You can change its battle position, also switch its ATK and DEF. This card you control can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If they do, apply their DEF for damage calculation. If this card battles an Extra Deck monster, this card gains 1000 DEF until the end of the Damage Step.
● "Fire King": Cannot be destroyed by card effects. When this card is Special Summoned: You can destroy 1 "Garunix" monster from your Deck. If a face-up "Fire King" monster you control is destroyed by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Fire King" from your hand. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Fire King" monster from your Deck to your hand.
● "Bujin": This card is always treated as a Beast-Warrior-Type monster. When this card is Special Summoned: You can send 1 Beast-Type "Bujin" monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, then add 1 Winged Beast-Type "Bujin" monster from your Deck to the hand. This card gains 300 ATK for every Winged Beast-Type "Bujin" monster in your Graveyard that sent there because of their effects and 200 ATK for every of your banished Beast-Type "Bujin" monster that were banished there because of their effects.
● "Melodious": This card's Level becomes 4. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Melodious" monster from the hand or Graveyard. Cannot be used as an Xyz Material, except for the Xyz Summon of a Fairy-Type monster.
